A 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit Mount Barker in Adelaide

Adelaide earthquake: Hours ago, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit Mount Barker, a Southern Australian city that is about 25 kilometers southeast of Adelaide. Geoscience Australia announced.

More than 7000 reports have been received by local authorities from residents who experienced the earthquake in the early hours of Sunday, March 6, 2022.

This comes a day after a 3.6 magnitude earthquake with a depth of 10km, was recorded in the city of Tanami in the Northern Territory of Australia.

So far, authorities have recorded no casualties. However, evacuation exercise is under way to put residents at safety.
