Information gathered by GhanaVanguard.com has it that a woman has been forced to take a concoction to proof to the masses that she was not into witchcraft.
This unfortunate incident happened yesterday, July 27, 2020 in Liberia few days after similar witchcraft related incident took place in the Savannah Region of Ghana.
According to a witness whose Facebook post is sighted by GhanaVanguard.com, the woman was forced to take the concoction after she was named as one of few persons who were responsible for the death of a 58-year-old man.
The witness further stated that the other persons who were accused of same crime confessed to the village elders that they were behind. However, the now deceased woman insisted she was innocent and was forced to undergo the ordeal.
Should she survive the archaic ordeal would mean she is not a witch and therefore not responsible for what she was accused of. However, as the woman died during the spiritual ordeal; it is believed that he was indeed a witch.
The believe in witchcraft in Africa has been a topic for discussion for centuries. Many believed nothing like witchcraft exists while others too believed it does exist.
