A staff member at the Office of the President, Newton-Offei Justice Abeeku is inciting sympathizers of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to cause harm to their national executives as soon as the final verdict on the 2020 election petition is delivered.
According to Newman who is also a ModernGhana columnist, footsoldiers of the NDC must do the unthinkable to their leaders for not being truthful to them as long as the recently held December, 2020 general elections outcome is of concern.
He believes that his party, NPP won the 2020 presidential election and that if leadership of the NDC had been truthful to their party faithfuls after the elections, the nation would not have seen the numerous nationwide demonstrations which saw tyres burnt, and properties destroyed.
Newton is of a firm believe that his party is going to emerge victorious in the ongoing 2020 election petitioned which was filed by the candidate of the opposition NDC, John Mahama at the Supreme Court as he claims NDC has no case, and if that happens, footsoldiers should throng the premises of the SC to assault their leaders.
“All NDC followers deceived by their party leadership into pouring onto the streets to burn tyres, destroy public properties, and cause total mayhem across the country, should converge at the Supreme Court on the day the election petition verdict will be delivered, and subject these leaders to merciless beatings,” he wrote in a Facebook post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com.
