The Member of Parliament for Builsa South and Deputy Ranking Member on Parliament’s Education Committee, Hon. Dr. Clement Apaak, has called for an investigation into some irregularities detected in some results released by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).

The irregularities, according to WAEC, were caused by what the examination body describes as “technical hitches” suffered by one of the results-checking portal, eresults.waecgh.org.

But for the NDC MP, the incident, which WAEC duly apologised for, put the latter in a position that it cannot be trusted.

Hon. Apaak further questions the integrity of the West African examination body.

“…There must be an independent probe into this issue. WAEC cannot be trusted based on recent revelations suggesting complicity in examination leakages. The integrity of WAEC is clearly in question,” Hon. Apaak wrote in a facebook post GhanaVanguard.com sighted.
