Information Minister Kojo Opponh Nkrumah
Information Minister Kojo Opponh Nkrumah is being dragged on twitter for urging Ghanaians to go for the vaccine.

Ghanaians on microblogging platform, twitter, have heavily descended on the Information Minister and Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, for advising them to go in for the covid-19 vaccine doses.

The Information Minister, in a tweet on Friday, urges Ghanaians who are yet to be vaccinated, to go for the vaccine jabs so as to protect themselves against the havoc-wrecking covid-19 pandemic.

His tweet comes days after a 20-year old Political Science student of the University of Ghana, Albert Owusu Sarpong, died two days after receiving the vaccine jab.

Albert Sarpong’s death has already sparked anger among the youths, and the latest tweet by the Information Minister somewhat adds gasoline to the already high tempers.

A twitter user who goes by the name Ayewa Mensah, wonders why the honourable MP would be urging Ghanaians to go for the covid-19 vaccines when people are passing away and getting injured as a result of the vaccine shot they took.

How can @konkrumah be calling for vaccination on the backdrop of Ghanians injured and dying from a vaccine THAT DOES NOT WORK!,” Mensah tweeted.

“@konrumah is a heartless being who doesn’t understand democracy. He thinks we’re all uneducated like him. But NO! We have the facts and statistics to show that the vaccine is deadly and useless…,” another twitter user, Samuel Appoh, twitted.
