Ginni Thomas, aged 65, was born in Omaha Nebraska. She is married to the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Clarence Thomas, since 1987.

She became known as a controversial person due to her activism and conservative stance. Ginni is herself a lawyer but she is not known to have ever practiced.

She is the youngest of four children born to Donald Lamp and Marjorie Lamp who were all Republicans. They were all raised in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ginni Thomas enrolled in Westside High School in Omaha, where she was so involved in student politics. She was a member of the school’s debate club, and the Republican club. It has been revealed that Ginni wanted to become a Congresswoman while still a student.

Because she wanted to be closer to Washington DC for obvious reasons, Ginni enrolled in an all-women college in Virginia. She subsequently had a transferred to continue her education at the University of Nebraska, and then finally relocated to Creighton University where she completed with a degree in Political Science and Business Communication in 1979.

After going through hiatus for a short period, she enrolled in the Law School of Creighton University and acquired her law degree in 1983, becoming a trained American lawyer. Her legal studies was inspired by Hal Daub whom she worked for as legislative aide.
