Harry Billinge cause of death:- Harry Billinge was a D-day veteran who was one of the first British troops that arrived the Gold Beach during the Second World War in 1944. He was aged 18 at the time of the war.

He was one of the four soldier in his unit, that survived the Normandy landing on the D-Day on June 6, 1944. He subsequently fought in France and Caen.

Billinge was made an MBE in 2019 for his charitable fundraising works, after managing to raise more than $65,000 for his fellow veterans.

Though Billinge grew up in Petts Wood in Kent, he lived in Cornwall for 70 years till his death.

The cause of death of the veteran is not immediately known, as details surrounding his death remain undisclosed. However, many are of the view that he may have died of a natural cause, looking at the age.

He died at the age of 96.
