Presidential staffer, Newton-Offei Justice Abeeku, has descended on the president of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kurt Okraku, for his ‘unwillingness’ to sack coach Milovan.

Calls for the dismissal of the Black Stars’ Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac have been mounting on the Kurt Okraku-led GFA. This was after the Black Stars’ abysmal performance in the 2021 African Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon. The team was eventually kicked out of the tournament.

The GFA boss however maintained that it is too early to sack the coach who only took charge of the Black Stars some three months ago, and that the coach is one of the best coaches the national team has had.

“By far and by way of data, coach Milo has been one of the best coaches Ghana has had. We believed in Milo and gave him the job…,” Mr. Okraku stated on Asempa FM Thursday, January 20, 2022.

But for the presidential staffer, Newton-Offei Justice Abeeku, coach Milovan has to be sacked at all cost.

He suggested that the GFA boss should be made to pay the US$30,000 monthly salary to the ’embattled’ coach should he [GFA boss] refuse to sack the coach.

“If Kurt Okraku doesn’t want the badly rusted empty Milo can to be thrown onto a rubbish dump, then, he(Kurt) must bear the cost of his(Milo) monthly salary of $30,000 and all the obscene juicy pecks. I suspect Kurt is sick in the head,” Mr. Abeeku stated in a post he made on his Facebook wall.

Meanwhile, the government, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is asking the GFA to sack coach Milovan, and also dissolve the executive committee of the country’s football body.
