Ghanaian actress, model, social media personality, video vixen and brand ambassador, born Rosemond Alade Brown famously known as Akuampem Poloo tells her true story on her rise to fame.
Akuapem poloo on link up with Mona Gucci on Kantanka TV which was closely monitored by GhanaVanguard.com, stated that she was eager to be in the Limelight for which influenced her actions negatively towards other celebrities in the industry.
She added that her eagerness led her to be guided by one renowned blogger “Those Called Celebs”, who then was the master mind behind what she did to gaining the attention she wanted .
”Twerking was my main weapon for attaining the heights aside the trolls and attacks which was not personal” she told Mona Gucci.
She also disclosed that she shot movies and danced in music videos for free all in name of reaching where she wanted to.
The Ghanaian female actor’s first break came in the form of the once popular local TV series “Efiewura”. Then she also played a bit part role in the local series ”Obra” which was aired on the Ghana Television network. She also played roles in “Phone Shop“, “Odo Lastic”, “Agya Koo Azonto” starring alongside popular ace actor Agya Adu, known by his stage name Agya Koo.
She also acted in the movie “Salah“. But her major break came last two years when she featured in the movie “Side Chic Gang” alongside seasoned performers Nana Ama McBrown, Lydia Forson, Adjetey Annan, late Bernard Nyarko and directed by Peter Sedufia & Laurene Manaa Abdallah.
“Side Chic Gang” was initially realeased on March 3, 2018.
