The last son of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Nkrumah has served notice to former President John Dramani Mahama to stop mentioning Kwame Nkrumah’s name on his [Mahama] campaign platforms.
“Please someone should tell Mahama not to use Kwame Nkrumah’s name on his campaign,” he wrote on his Facebook wall.
According to the outspoken Sekou, his father, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who was the founding father of Ghana, had nothing to do with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) which is led by John Dramani Mahama.
“Our first president has nothing to do with NDC,” Sekou said.
Sekou, who was once a member of the NDC suddenly turned against the party and its leaders over what he calls bad leadership during their tenure in office.
He is known for jabbing former presidents; Mahama and the late Professor Mill, whose leaderships he described in previous social media comments as corrupt and worse.
