Talent Manager, Socialite and sister to Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight, StoneBwoy, Aisha Modi has promised to give GHS 2,000 each month to the mother of jailed Ghanaian actress and video vixen, Rosemond Brown who is known widely as Akuapem Poloo.
According to Aisha Modi in an Instagram post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com, an outreach headed by herself, together with WanAfriq have decided to be giving Akuapem Poloo’s mum who is only known as Auntie Lydia a sum of Ghs 2,000 each month for the upkeep of Poloo’s son.
“On this day @modisoutreach and @wanaafriq in collaboration with GIWA FOUNDATION @giwasariki has decided to give your mother 2000gh every month to take care of your child as you spend 90days in prison…,” she announced on social media.
The actress was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment on Friday, April 16, 2021 for making a nude publication involving a minor, her son in June last year, as a way of celebrating her son’s seventh birthday.
The final verdict on the matter caused a stare and is still sparking up numerous conversations amongst industry players as to whether the punishment meted out to Akuapem Poloo is harsh or not.
