The Ketu North Constituency Deputy Youth Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Goldenberg Wovenu has resigned his position and exited the party.
Mr. Wovenu’s resignation came less than two months to the general elections which will see NDC and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) battling it out keenly.
The Deputy Youth Organizer who served the party in various positions for the past eleven years revealed no reasons for his resignation and exit from the party.
He however, stated in his resignation letter which was sighted by GhanaVanguard.com that his decision is in conformity with the law as a law section of the Ghanaian constitution permits anyone to decide the association he or she wants to be a member of.
Mr. Wovenu also acknowledge that it was great for him working for the party and he will not forget in anytime soon the memories.
“It has been great working with you and lessons learnt will not be forgotten in a haste,” part of the resignation letter reads.
