Former president, Jerry John Rawlings office has been closed to the general public, his communications director announced.

The closure according to the communications director became necessary for the protection of staff and potential visitors from the ravaging covid-19 disease.

However, the closure of the office will be reviewed in two weeks time in order to decide whether to keep it closed or re-open it to visitors.

Former president Rawlings further caution citizens to adhereto the protocols in order to keep themselves safe from the deadly coronavirus which has so far claimed the lives of more than 120 persons in the country.
