The immediate past Managing Director for Accra Digital Center, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah is pleading to NPP Members of Parliament to not visit what happened to former Speaker of Parliament, Mike Ocquaye on the ministerial nominees of the president.

According to him, it will be so disappointing if any lawmaker who belongs to the governing NPP vote against nominees of the president during vetting.

Nkansah recalls how the Speaker of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic was voted against in a contest with NDC Alban Bagbin for the speakership of the 8th parliament and admonishes the 137 NPP lawmakers to desist from doing same this time to the nominees for ministerial portfolios.

He further appealed to the NPP lawmakers to make their constituents proud by voting for the approval of the ministers designate.

“I’m very sure those who voted for you are fully in support of the President’s decisions. So make your Constituents proud this time.”
