Remember me in your prayers – Domelevo tells Ghanaians

Auditor-General of the republic, Mr. Daniel Yaw Domelevo has made what seems to be an emotional statement, calling on ghanaians to remember him in their prayers.

The embattled Auditor-General who was on June 29, 2020 directed by the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to take his accumulated leave of 123 days made this comment on his Facebook wall.

Describing himself as a dearly beloved Auditor-General, Domelevo, whom many believed was axed due to his strong anti-graft stance indicated that his journey is not an easy one as his maker, God has himself not promised that his journey will be easy.

“Dearly beloved 4yrs as Auditor-General of Ghana. To God be the glory – he never gave a promise that the journey will be easy. When you say a prayer, say one for me,” he wrote in a social media post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com.

Mr. Domelevo’s recent predicament with the government ignited several arguments with some claiming that he [Domelevo] will never be given his job after his accumulated leave runs out. Others however, believe that he will still be the one to hold the position when he is back from leave.
