Shooting in Brooklyn:- Brooklyn-based NBA team, Brooklyn Nets, have pledged to support all the victims of the deadly Brooklyn subway shooting that took place during Monday morning rush hour, with an amount of $50,000.

This pledge has been announced by the Nets’ announcer in the Barclays Center ahead of the team’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The announcement came minutes after the team observed a moment of silence in solidarity with the dozens of victims of the shooting incident.

The shooting in Brooklyn, according to the New York Police Department, was carried out by a heavily-built black male wearing an orange construction vest and a gas mask.

The attacker is said to have thrown a gas canister into the crowd of passengers, and just as the smoke started filling the place, he took out his weapon and fire several rounds into the crowd, injury about 29 passengers.

As at the time of putting together this news item, none of the victims of the incident is said to have succumbed to his or her injuries  and passed away. Also, none of the victims is said to have been in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, the police have called for public support in tracking down the attacker, as a serious manhunt for him continues.
