Opposition Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency and ranking member on parliament’s communications committee, Hon. Sam Dzata George, has described the country’s apex court as a “crime scene.”

The loud-mouth lawmaker made the statement in a Facebook post that calls on his party, NDC, to adopt a more radical political strategy moving forward.

“Even as the Supreme Court has become a crime scene, the NDC must evolve to be ‘brutal’ with leadership when the reins are handed over. There must be a spine to our tenure. Happy Easter,” Hon. Sam George wrote in a social media post sighted by Ghana Vanguard.

It is however, not immediately known why the MP used the term “crime scene” to describe the Supreme Court.

But many believed his comment was in reaction to the recent Supreme Court ruling that bars his colleague lawmaker, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, from performing parliamentary duties due to the dual citizenship case brought against him last year.
