Thieve made away with GHS 20,000 after breaking into a car in Western Region.

Theft at Takwa

Some criminals who are yet to be identified have broken the driver side window of a 4 wheel Mitsubishi SUV and made away from a sum of GHS 20,000.

This theft took place in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 22, 2020, near a popular bar, called “White Horse Bar” at Aboso, a town in the Wassa West District of the Western Region.

According to eye witnesses, the incident unfolded just minutes after the driver of the Mitsubishi vehicle had withdrawn the money from Zenith Bank which is few meters away from the the theft scene.

The Police have since begun manhunt for the criminals who are currently on the run.
