Two drivers have lost their lives in a gory vehicular accident which occurred at Krispol City on the Kasoa–Winneba Highway in the Central Region yesterday, July 10.
The gory accident involved two heavy duty vehicles; long vehicle and a tipper truck.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the long vehicle was standing beside his vehicle to detect a fault but was crashed by the tipper truck which according to the eye witness has failed it break. Both driver could not survive the accident as they both died instantly on the spot.
Describing the scene of the incident, the eye witness said the driver who was detecting a fault on his vehicle had his intestines busted out while the driver of the vehicle whose break failed got stuck in his mangled vehicle calling for help but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries before help arrived.
The two bodies have since been deposited at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital Morgue.
The police says they are investigating the accident so as to ensure such accidents are prevented on the roads.
However, the mate who together with his boss was detecting the fault on their vehicle survived the accident. Efforts made by GhanaVanguard.com to reach him for comments proved futile.
