Former member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who is now the founder and leader of the newly established National Liberation Congress (NLC), Stephen Atubiga has claimed that NDC grassroots have no future being with the party.
Mr. Atubiga’s comment was in reaction to the resignation of lawyer George Tetteh Wayoe from the NDC party.
George Tetteh Wayoe resigned from the NDC Tuesday, June 15 on grounds that the NDC is deviating from the very principles on which it was established in 1992 by the late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
“As a true and brazen Social Democrat, I must resign and align myself with a political party I strongly believe can deliver on this social democratic ideology in a more ‘practical manner’ for the rapid development of Ghana for her future generations,” part of Wayoe’s resignation letter reads.
But for Mr. Atubiga, the latest “resignation is an indication of an emergency [sic] reform call.”
He noted in a social media post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com that grassroots and footsoldiers belonging to the NDC have no future with the party.

There is no future for the youth, The grassroots, and the foot-soldier. There are thousands of silent members in a silent resignation mood from the NDC while looking up to the NLC as an alternative.
The ideology of social Democrat, social intervention have been derailed from their NDC party.
Some hungry neglected foot- soldiers and grassroots will hypocritically come on social media, to insult and abuse those fighting for their rights internally and externally in satisfying their political slave Masters.
Until you go round the countryside and the zongo communities to see the effects of the neglect on the youth, everything said will be seen like fiction.
