The National Deputy Youth Organizer of the opposition NDC, Eric Edem Agbana has accused the University of Ghana Department of Political Science of failing to publish a recent research work conducted by the department as the outcome of the research shows that the Mahama-led NDC will win the upcoming December general elections.
In a facebook post sighted by GhanaVanguard.com, the young and energetic youth leader says that he confirms the outcome of the research from two reliable persons who were involved in the field research.
According to the Deputy Youth Organizer, the leader of the research team, Dr. Isaac Owusu Mensah failed to publish the outcome of the research simply because he is an appointee of President Akufo Addo and doing so may destroy his relationship with the ruling NPP.
“The UG Political Science Department is refusing to publish their recently conducted polls because the outcome shows the NDC will win the election.
The lead researcher,
Dr Isaac Owusu Mensah (My Former Lecturer) is an appointee of the NPP so he is unable to publish it,” Edem wrote on his facebook wall.
