According to the Deputy Youth Organizer, the leader of the research team, Dr. Isaac Owusu Mensah failed to publish the outcome of the research simply because he is an appointee of President Akufo Addo and doing so may destroy his relationship with the ruling NPP.

The UG Political Science Department is refusing to publish their recently conducted polls because the outcome shows the NDC will win the election.

I confirmed from 2 reliable people who took part in the field research.

The lead researcher,

Dr Isaac Owusu Mensah (My Former Lecturer) is an appointee of the NPP so he is unable to publish it,” Edem wrote on his facebook wall.
