Who was Maks Levin, the Ukrainian journalist who was found dead in Kyiv?:- Maks Levin was a photojournalist who went missing around Kyiv some two weeks ago, only to be found dead on Saturday, by local authorities.

Levin was last seen on March 13, driving to Huta-Mezhyhirska to cover clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces. Upon reaching his destination, he left his car there and headed to Moshchun, a nearby village where the clashes were taking place.

According to reports, Levin was never seen exiting the village. He went missing.

Who was Maks Levin?

He was a photojournalist who worked for several media houses till he went missing and subsequently found dead at the age of 40.

He was documenting war crimes committed in the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine before his death.

According to information on his LinkedIn profile, Levin, as at the time of his disappearance, worked as a contract staff for the World Health Organization as Photographer and Videographer.

He was also working for Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) as photographer and videographer before his disappearance on March 13.

Levin was a graduate of the popular National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (NTUU “KPI”).
